TKP x Kapu Collection
The Kindness Project Kapu Collection:
The idea for The Kindness Project Kapu Collection originated from a conversation about doing more than just providing kākahu. We wanted to explore other ways to inspire our people to be kind in their day-to-day lives.
"A simple reminder with your morning coffee or afternoon tea to be kind to yourself and others."
Our Kapu are handcrafted here in Aotearoa. They are designed in Aotearoa, rooted in kindness. Each one is unique, symbolizing that no two people are the same, but we all share the same goal of living kind lives. It was important to us to collaborate with a small pakihi from New Zealand to bring our idea to life, remaining ethical in our practices and providing mahi for our own people—values that are close to our hearts.
You can learn more about our values in the 'Kindness Community' section on our website, covering Kindness to Tangata Whenua, Kindness to Our World, Kindness to Other People, and Kindness to Ourselves.
These Kapu come in three designs: Be Kind, Kia Ngāwari, and Raise Kind Humans. These are our first three releases at TKP, with Raise Kind Humans being our first product. "Kia Hāpai, Kia Ngāwari" is the Te Reo Māori version of Raise Kind Humans, a gift from Uncle Wayne. Be Kind is the third design, marking our initial embroidered kākahu collection. Our wawata (dream) is to release a Kapu for each collection, creating a legacy of mugs that inspire us and others to be kind always.
We are thrilled to introduce a new product to 'The Kindness Project.' We hope you love them as much as we do! Please note that stock is limited, so be sure to act quickly to secure one of these Kapu for yourself."
