Mahi Tūkino- sexual violence
A mamae most of us carry. Maybe not from personally being through it, we may carry it because it hurts the people closest to us.
If I could do anything in this world it would be to take away the mamae you carry from mahi tūkino. So let’s start with learning, healing and growing.
@heahurumowai is a space for all. Ones who are survivors, ones who struggle with intrusive thoughts and even ones who act on those intrusive thoughts and want a way out.
The honest truth about telling your story: It’s hard, It brings back memories you may have buried. BUT if you have a team around you that supports you (me, whānau, friends and/or professionals in the field) you will be able to bring all this mamae up in safe, loving and helpful environments.
By telling your story you encourage others to do the same. So if you feel you have no one to talk to then let me be the one you are safe with. YOUR STORY MATTERS.
